Welcome,
if you publish something, don't worry about the alias, it fills in automatically. Also note on page left, there is a calendar that works off a Google Calendar I got set up. The Main Menu also has links we can only see, all our stuff is in Convention Planning and sub groups. If you publish to a category that is not Under Convention Palnning it is public and the world can see it. To edit or add to an existing article at the top on the article there are three icons. the furthest right is edit. Create new on the page left menu.
If you want to add people to our group just let me know and I'll set it up.
Below the text input box make sure its publishes and featured is set to yes so it makes our private front page. No need to worry on the dates but set Access to Confiential. No worries about doing the Meta stuff unless you want. But since this is confidential it doesn't matter.
